After 21 years in Pacific Palisades, Puzzle Zoo will be closing its doors. The toy store faces an uncertain future in the aftermath of receiving an eviction notice on January 31 from the Community United Methodist Church of Pacific Palisades, which owns the property. “Building a business and community takes a long time and the United Methodist Church of Pacific Palisades is destroying 21 years of hard work with a 30-day notice.” Demircift told the Post he pleaded with the Board of Trustees for Pacific Palisades Community United Methodist Church and asked what he can do to keep the property, but a decision had been made.
