The Palisadian-Post has partnered with locally founded environmental nonprofit Resilient Palisades to deliver a weekly “green tip” to our readers. Every year across the globe, on the last Saturday of March, 8:30 p.m. is Earth Hour: a campaign to “go dark for nature” by dimming or turning off all non-essential electric lights. Over the years, dimmed lights and cities have been an opportunity for individuals, communities, businesses and governments to announce local actions and policy changes aimed at tackling climate change.
