The CSUF Police Department, along with the Fullerton police and fire department, arrived at the intersection of Nutwood Ave. and Commonwealth Ave., where the accident occured. CSUF PD Capt. Scot Willey said that the accident was immediately considered a mass casualty incident when the fire department arrived. Four CSUF PD cars, two Fullerton police cars, three fire engines, one paramedic and four ambulances responded to the accident. Willey said the intersection of Commonwealth and Nutwood avenues is a part of Fullerton police’s list of intersections where accidents are common.
