The sequel released in 2018,  “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” contributed to the story line by blowing up Isla Nublar which led to a convoluted plot involving a black market dinosaur auction and the revelation of human cloning. “Jurassic World: Dominion” picks up four years later, showing what life on Earth is like as dinosaurs coexist with humans . In a franchise that has led to the inevitable coexistence of dinosaurs and humans in society, “Jurassic World: Dominion” does a great job of putting dinosaurs in the background and rather focuses more on a shady corporation’s control for the world’s food supply with genetically modified insects. Overall, “Jurassic World: Dominion” feels like a cash grab that coerces audiences with nostalgia and legacy characters while failing to deliver a promising story about humans and dinosaurs coexisting.
